Your client: Cesar Chavez School
Purpose: A cover for the schools Student Handbook. This book is for students and parents. It includes school policies and procedures.
SIZE: 17.5 X 11.5
RESOLUTION: 250
MOOD-STYLE: Because this is for students specifically you could span from fun to professional, whatever you think is best. Keep in mind that it needs to be appropriate for a school environment. Be creative.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Design for both front and back covers. (this could be one continuous design, or two separate) 2. FRONT Cover must include:

(Be discreet. Your name is NOT the emphasis. Make it clear, but quiet)
4. Your graphic design must include some sort of visual art addition that is created by you, for this work. This could be a photograph that YOU take, or a collage of many photos. If you choose to use photos, think about what you are taking photos of and how it relates or adds to your design. You could take photos and then turn them into paintbrushes, then using photoshop you could create an artistic visual combining them. You could even create an artistic visual only using photoshop and nothing else. It will be your choice. Just make sure whatever you choose corresponds with your overall design.
5. Do not put ANY type within 1/2 inch of any edge.
6. No images will be taken from the Internet.
7. Optional: School colors? Do you think it important?
Mascot? If you choose to include a Pegasus make sure to include one from around campus.
8. Read the "GRAPHIC DESIGN POST" for final instructions.
